Panasonic GH2 - Part 4 Real World Tests Olympus 9-18mm and 14-150mm Zooms

Panasonic GH2 Olympus 14-150mm and 9-18mm Zooms

I caught the last light of the day with these.

Again another great performance. The GH2 plus these two Olympus zooms covers a huge range in a very lightweight package. I think I'm seeing a really good dynamic range in these pictures. The raw files seem to have a lower contrast than I've encountered before with m4/3.

  1. Newbie question - why Olympus lenses on Panasonic (outside of the face you already own them :)

Panasonic has a zoom with same range, 15-150... :)

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. I use a variety of lenses, some Panasonic, some Olympus, some 4/3 with an adapter. The Panasonic 14-140mm is a specialised video lens and my colleague Ben already has one. I like the Olympus 14-150mm because its very light.
